Anybody ever been around an Allis Chalmers 5040? I can pick up one with a loader cheap. I know its a f'ed over communist copy of a Fiat. The first thing I told the guy when I saw what it was is,"you'd have to give it to me".

I like... How hard will it be to get the bolts threw that?
I don't think it'd be to difficult. Little hard on the drill bit and a little silicone wouldn't hurt. I was wondering earlier if they filled up with water.

I have one of these feeder wagons. It holds 5 4x5 bales and I can park it in a different spot every time I feed. It wasn't cheap but money well spent for me.

Ground down here in the winter doesn't freeze enough to utilize them. The ones I see around have flat tires and are stationary feeders. Most everyone uses rings and moves them between rains. Also, if you have a good hill and good hay they clean up, bales often get unrolled.

You guys are early out there, We still planting barley here yet. Corn still coming off here. Beans start in a couple weeks, Then wheat behind corn and beans.

Not really. Chopped the corn in August. I won't do rye for pasture anymore. Can't stay ahead of it in the spring.
