I don’t know much about masseys hosky. It’s not exactly ours. My uncles father in law bought that thing. He passed away. His kids asked if we would service it. Then asked if we could store it. Run it use it keep it over there. I honestly don’t know whose it is. I turn augers. Pull grain wagons and little things with. Dig drainage gutters. Rake with it. Haven’t put any time on it though. Those were not one of there better tractors [emoji609]

Raining right now and haven't really had a chance to cut hay yet. Lets get these hydraulic leaks out of the way now that way I don't have to worry about it in the field. They are proud of those hard lines like everything on a green painted tractor.
Agree with that one , our version of that model was the 175
the 178 and 185 188 where much much better
I will probably do that as well to have as a backup. Main thing for me is that I don't want to worry about it failing when we are at our busiest.I brazed a hole in one of mine today.
Ain’t they all over the place. I dig gutters with one of those spinny thingys. Annoying to say the least.I like my old 175.....for pulling a rake, or spraying. Teddering. Not a good tractor for bush hogging. Three point lift is all over the place.
I’ve had really good luck brazing them if I go all the way around the tube. I’ve got an old 1840 skid loader I think I’ve brazed most of them. Typically it breaks down when I’m using it so I pull them. Take them to shop and braze. They have failed me several times. Since I have started brazing all the way around the line I haven’t had one fail. I totally agree with putting a new one on. It is a good repair thoughI will probably do that as well to have as a backup. Main thing for me is that I don't want to worry about it failing when we are at our busiest.

Find plenty of uses for old heater hose lines. Another one of those things I hold onto.I added some rubber hose at the rub points on my hard lines. Hope it helps.
Sounds like a good idea. I’ve done the same. I think it helpsI added some rubber hose at the rub points on my hard lines. Hope it helps.
Isn't crazy how we hang onto things like this as a "just in case" circumstance. Got a radiator put away when I ran a stick through the front of the tractor one day. Didn't know when I could get it repaired and so I did it myself. Went ahead and bought a new one and replaced it just to make sure we had no problems when doing hay. My repair was holding up fine but there was that nagging feeling that what if. Still got the old one put away at dads.

I just opened a new box of bearings. Inside was a completely worn out bearing…. Not even decent enough to finish the season …. One of us decided we needed to keep it Pretty sure it wasn’t me.Don’t ya think farmers are kinda that way
I know dad is to point of hoarder
It tends to end up in my shop
I pitch it. If he asks, I don’t know [emoji2373]
