Joystick housing for hydraulics on tractor crapped out. Must be something that happens a lot since the local dealer has them on hand. $194 for a piece of plastic with some bushings molded in.
I j.b. weld and screwed the old one together and had it on yesterday morning to make sure it would work if I needed it. There is always a way with duct tape and baling wire. Speaking of green paint, looks like the clutch is going out on tractor at dad's. I'll make a trip out later today to check it out and drag out the trailer. Turned my ankle yesterday at work so I am doing piddly jobs and trying to take it easy for a couple of days. And very true on the two months out. It's that green color. But what are you gonna do? Gotta have it. At least it wasn't 2 months out!

Probably take it to same place we had the last one done a few years ago in Monett. Since my I don't have regular work hours, mainly just a start time and finish when done it's hard to plan any extra work in the evenings. Can't get much done when you roll in to the house at 8 at night or later some evenings and the simple daily things need done first. When I get the ends up on the shop I'm sure it will help though. So true on the emergency repairs! Twist your ankle being overloaded with Randy's stihls? Sucks either way.
At least your have a good spot to get dad's tractor split now.
Ended up doing 3 clutches last year. Yay!

What's that green stuff on the ground?
No way those guards would stop goats. Sheep must be a little less aggressive towards the trees.Been tidying up fruit tree guards as these devils are worse than Deer

I think so. It’s got fairly low hours so it hasn’t really proven itself yet. Been fairly trouble free so far.Have you had good service from 7240 hardly any over here there's more 7250's around they make good money when they come up for sale

View attachment 325630That’s the tire. I believe they’re dt710 Goodyear. Awful. If the ground was dry they would pull. One small slip they’d cake mud in them. Then you were done. Another fella on these forums is working on a tractor that had these same tires. They wear well but don’t pull
