I know that I am old. But check out JJns. YouTube in Canada. They are still running the L2 Gleaners which we ran here back in the early eighty's. Also Dirt grain steel YouTube, as they are running three L2's plus one one on steel tracks.
My uncle has a M Gleaner has a 15’ bean head & 6 row corn head. Gleaners are all he & Grandad have ever had.
My buddy that I graduated high school with has two 680 Deeres with 40’ grain tables & 12 row folding heads, he just bought a M gleaner with a 16’ table & 6 row corn head to open up fields with, run off smaller fields & terrace channels. He grew running Gleaners also.

The first machine Dad had was a 750 Massey Ferguson.

Did you get a new rig?
Well I still have the other one. The forks are new on this one. I still feed with the old one. She doesn’t like to crank when it’s this cold. It’s been in the teens for a few days. Today is 20s. I just put the forks on to move the bales closer.

ground is frozen so it was a good day to go grab some

So which is best agco or cnh
I prefer furd and international
Depends. Too many damn wires on all the new stuff. Old stuff. Well I’m a red kinda guy I guess.
At this point I don’t care really. They’re all limited by electronics that you have to call a service tech for. It gets old.

Loaded question for sure. The agco we have is a SAME from Italy. We beat the chit out of it and it has served us well but it has an SLH air cooled diesel. Starts easy even near zero degrees. But it's loud! I'd take a UR1 Zetor any day over the agco. We had a bunch of AC tractors so I kind of lean orange. Only experience I have with new tractors is our compact LS. So far it's a solid machine.

I'd love to get a 7710 Ford open station though!

It was about time to replace breaks in my 4030 before they get too worn down.
