I need to hit mine harder this year than I have been. We pull off my field and feed at dads, but that is getting ready to change before too long. I'll turn his into hay ground which will be nice since its closer to the Co-op to haul.

People are buying up all the manure. I’m trying to find a lot
Manure is great for part of the equation..

But if you’re in a potassium deficient zone, it will cripple your production.

It’s a balancing act between adding organic matter and keeping the balance right.

Chicken chit around here is from $82.50 - $90.50 per ton, delivered & spread. I will have to dig around & find the analysis. Anhydrous was over $1400 a ton but I haven’t checked on dry prices.

I’d wait till spring. I think prices will come down a tick
I don’t think prices will be coming down, the Rooskies aren’t doing any shipping of fertilizer, last time I checked we were getting 30% -40% of our Potash from over there. ( At least iirc it was Potash). A few years ago we were getting a lot of urea in from them.

Yes. I add whatever I’m missing. But it’s still a very cost effective way to go. I spread a lot of it yearly

Depends. Too many damn wires on all the new stuff. Old stuff. Well I’m a red kinda guy I guess.
At this point I don’t care really. They’re all limited by electronics that you have to call a service tech for. It gets old.

yeah true but the case like you have here is a good little loader tractor
A bit light on the rear end

Loaded question for sure. The agco we have is a SAME from Italy. We beat the chit out of it and it has served us well but it has an SLH air cooled diesel. Starts easy even near zero degrees. But it's loud! I'd take a UR1 Zetor any day over the agco. We had a bunch of AC tractors so I kind of lean orange. Only experience I have with new tractors is our compact LS. So far it's a solid machine.

I'd love to get a 7710 Ford open station though!

yeah 7710 good tractor drove one for years on and off in the late 80’s
Also had a case 1594 and 1694 4wd for the steep ground where the 2wd 7710 wouldn’t go
Same would take a beating I’ve seen those 5 cyl air cooled chopping grass years ago all day on there knees but still pulling
