:( Not great... That's the first load out. I don't have a yield monitor so I'm guessing 100-110 a acre. We just didn't get the rain we needed. :(
The dry weather was very local right over me....

But, it's dry 15.7% with my tester.
Ours was in that range. Dry here too we had anywhere from 90 to 150 non irrigated. Cut some beans yesterday they made 32 bushel

Thinking seriously about putting in a pond or two.

The big pond (just a 1/2 acre, but bigger than the other two) is deep, and has a healthy spring feeding it. I could pump out of it and irrigate the fields around it. That would have given me a lot of help in this drought.

Gun stands aren't terribly expensive. I pump out of a ditch with a river screen to feed two pivots all the money is in the pumps really they're the costly part

Deep is the trick. I have a ravine between two fields that does nothing but erode. Can't stop it,the canopy is to thick to get any ground cover. I got half a notion to log it and build a dam across the end.

I put hay out yesterday just to see if they were interested. It has gotten fairly dry here lately. Cold front moving through this afternoon is going to bring lows in the 40's for a few days.

I wonder if one of those crappy Chinese 2" pumps would work well enough to run a couple of sprinklers?
