How's your corn man
Ours was in that range. Dry here too we had anywhere from 90 to 150 non irrigated. Cut some beans yesterday they made 32 bushelNot great... That's the first load out. I don't have a yield monitor so I'm guessing 100-110 a acre. We just didn't get the rain we needed.
The dry weather was very local right over me....
But, it's dry 15.7% with my tester.
Thinking seriously about putting in a pond or two.
Gun stands aren't terribly expensive. I pump out of a ditch with a river screen to feed two pivots all the money is in the pumps really they're the costly partThe big pond (just a 1/2 acre, but bigger than the other two) is deep, and has a healthy spring feeding it. I could pump out of it and irrigate the fields around it. That would have given me a lot of help in this drought.
