Well,I bought the damn thing. Knocked down about four acres last night. Pluses well outweighed the minus's. Got some knife sections to replace. But I'm pretty sure I've got a couple knive left over from the 1090/1091 days that will work.

We still use a NH 472 haybine exclusively. We used to do about 80 acres a cutting with it untill this year. Gave up our custom hay jobs and now we just cut our 15 and thats it!

I was lucky to find this 1120. Usually they are all whipped to pieces. This one is tight. Has a couple Ohiotucky dairy farmer things that need addressed but other than that it's nice. Plus it matches the tractor!

I'm glad you got it. Seems that you are real familiar with the machine.

Deer are eating the cotton up.
Shot 8 last night and 15 minutes later had 30 more eating at the bottom of the 30 acre field.
Silver Queen corn is ready for harvest here.

It would be a lot cheaper if we could get the deer to eat grass.

Here deer are considered pests, dam pine goats.
Hard to give deer away here it is so common.
Cleaning deer in the summer is a real chore unfortunately most go to waste and buried.
During hunting season we will pick the best does to harvest for meat then hunt horns.

Deer eat up our foodplots for dove and quail.

You are lucky, As the damn coyotes eat up everything around here. We have three quail here in the yard by the house here, hope to keep them here.

We have coyotes too.
Across the creek there is 1000 acres of cow pasture. They work on the coyotes pretty hard keeping them somewhat in check.
Used to have fox here but the coyotes took them out.
With all the rowcropping around we have big deer/horns.
Watching young quail feed thru the sunflowers with a few adults is cool to see. I have been lucky to watch a few broods for weeks grow/feed. They will stick to a routine if they have the right cover for predator protection.

Deer eat cotton. Whodathunkit. They are picky eaters. One year I decided to grow Organic soybeans. They actually turned out well. My beans were deer nose high before anyone else's.
