Nice tight rolls. Nice.

It's a damn sight better than what I've been using. The New Idea 5x4 low density machine makes good, but lightweight bales. They keep good.....but it just takes so many to get even a small herd like mine thru the winter. Last year I started in the fall with 299 bales.....and ran out.

My thinking is that with this baler I'll make about half as many bales and still have the same amount of hay. That's half as many to stop and drop, half as many to load, half as many to stack in the barn.....

You get where I'm going with this. LOL

Went to look at new disc mowers. They was out. But the salesman had this at home. Going to look at it tomorrow.

That is all we use is a NH 256. Works real well. Just not lightning fast like a v wheel rake.

They made these for a long time. They are rock solid. It also has stub guards. Given our conditions(hills,slopes,rocks,multiple turns in small fields) it'll hang with a discbine.

Welp.....I got the old Hesston working pretty good. Just baled 13 bales with it. No problems.

Yes it is, that is why I have both.

Critters love the clover...wish it didn't dry so slow, compared to grass.
