Yes they do, had it happen back in 1982 in corn field. The chisel plow driver finally got it out, after many fire trucks tried, No were near enough water for a fire like that.

Love the Johnny popper on liquid propane. I was in Wisconsin recently. Saw it was a stronghold for John Deere just as western Pa. And eastern Ohio have been. Like the improvised front weight. TLG

The 730 has been run on regular gas since grandpa bought it in 69. Need the extra weight for the hills.

So.....big clunking sound in my 2640 transmission when the PTO is engaged.

If it weren't for bad luck.....

Some of those johns had an inspection cover under the back of the tractor. I’m not a big Deere guy so I don’t have a lot to offer. It would be worth a look. I only have 2 John Deere tractors at the moment

If your gonna split that tractor Randy be cautious. There are three hyd o-ringed tubes and a coupler shaft that don't like mis alignment and unseat//bend easily. Any metal in the trans//hyd filter??

I'm gonna make a few calls Monday. See if I can get someone else to do it.
