Did you just end up cleaning the carb/carb kit on it.
I've got some stihls that I use for pine as well as a beat up 576 autotune for the larger ones .I intended on just cleaning it, but i had a kit just laying around...so I threw it in there. It runs great..probably didn't need the kit, but half my fun is tinkering with things. It's a great little saw..and so pretty that it won't see pine tree duty!

Here's what ST had to say. They look cool.
The bars remind me of the old poulan bars from the 2000 saws that turned up on the tip for less kickback, and no chain brake makes them just a bit earlier than those.
I also like the orange, it's my favorite color .
I'll post the link in the GMT on AS and see what the guys know, @ray benson hangs there as well as @SawTroll , sure they will have some info as well as a few of the other guys in there. I'll post what I find out.
Thanks Ray.A little info on the saw made by Quadra Manufacturing Trail in Canada. They made it for Husqvarna, Jonsered, Skil and others - pretty common.
It is talked about here

Forgot to say, glad it just needed the carb kit/cleaning, that's what I figured .I've got some stihls that I use for pine as well as a beat up 576 autotune for the larger ones .
I've been running them a lot lately, bringing the 2152 along today as I'm cutting a bunch of hardwood along a driveway .

Nice, I'm glad you like it they are fun, I thought you already paid me .I use a beat up looking 272 for most of the pines here (and we have a few). As for the 254...I like it so much I still owe you thanks

Dibz on the water jugJust because it's old doesn't mean it's worth a lot.
