Exact same ad in my neck of the woods, only he says he's in Lebanon. And it's $19 cheaper!

I emailed him and asked point blank how much of the saw is OEM and how much is aftermarket. We'll see what he says.

I saw where he dropped the price..it'll be very interesting to see if he answers you, and what he says when/if he does. It does look very clean

Big Stihl saws that are "new" is an ongoing scam around the USA. Most of the ones I've seen are the MS880 but I would make sure that this is an in person deal only as otherwise someone's likely to be left with no saw and an empty wallet. A new 090 would have a market value of higher than that and that's the first red flag...

No sir, not at all..in fact I was wondering if it's a Chinese kit saw being sold as the real deal. Do they make an 090 kit? I'm not in the market, but curiosity got the best of me

I believe they only make an 070, but with a couple badges it can be misrepresented as an 090.

But I'm not an expert by any stretch. Never had my hands on either an 070 or 090--neither real nor chi-com clone.

But with the stellar package deal (including 3year warranty) and the security of backing by eBay, how could one go wrong? After all, it's a NEW saw!
