No. I Am just a firewooder. Don't cut professionally.

If you did your hands and eyes are worth the price of gold, in the PNW you know the guys are off because at about 230 the bars are filled up with crummies.

Stihl went in the right direction with the 661. Just need to ditch the 1980’s air filter setup and make the mtronic more reliable.

In the dammed Makita thread to boot!! I mean, what are we supposed to do!?

Well let's be perfectly honest here, if I had a dollar for every time I read about loose screws on hooskies alone, I could start a Stihl dealership. So...what goes around, eventually comes around. He's going to have to take as good as he gave and quit playing the victim card here.

You tell him Ryan!

:tiburon: Give it some time and it too will pass.

I picked up my first Makita this past weekend because Ive been wanting to try one. My othere saws are Stihls and China clones. I have Stihl dealer that is close to me, not sure what's going on with them put only open 3 days a week. Used to be the place to go. There are 2 John Deere dealers that sell Stihl, but I don't get the warm fuzzies when you walk in and there is always a different parts guy behind the counter. A Big tree service company that I chat with occasional just switched over to Makita because of the service. They need there saws back when there down obviously. Thats a different story than me obviously but I have started going to the same Makita Dealer. They are open late, know their chit, and are fun to talk to. Plus they are members on here lol. I guess what I and others are saying is the dealer makes a big difference in choosing a saw or any piece of equipment even cars.

That sounds like progress on Makita's part, glad to hear it.

The only place I know of that’s open nearly 24/7.
