So far these are the only new echo saws we have received. I haven't ran this model yet I just checked it over and put it in the showroom. It's interesting seeing a tank grommet with fuel lines on a saw, usually see that on trimmers and blowers. It should make for an easy fuel line replacement. The latches for the top cover are beer can thickness and require a flat head screwdriver to undo. I liked the tooless latches on the cs 352 more than these ones. It does have a roller chain catch but chintzy plastic nubs for a bucking spike. I do like how you can use your 19mm or 3/4 socket to remove the clutch.

I think that tank is chintzy-looking too. Echo better be careful or they'll give Starmates enough ammo for a potential copyright infringement lawsuit:

I like how starmate put "no compromise in quality" on there saws. Those are probably as bad as the Painier saws Craftsman is putting there name on now. Check out the sweet bucking spike on this Craftsman/Painier. It has a 16" bar but only 10" of effective cutting length.

Any update when the 7310’s are going to make an appearance stateside? Well an appearance for us non-special folks that aren’t running them on super secret James Bond type testing missions.

The latches are springy steel so shouldn’t break much. Toolless ones are becoming forbidden by safety standard makers so manufacturers can’t enjoy making cool stuff much nowadays :)
This saw has the same fixing pattern as CS2511 so you can fit the same dogs.
Also, it has a captive-nut-ready clutch cover - fits the same nuts with wires as 501, 2511 etc.
And it has the oil tank with two way breather and expansion chamber so no puddle of oil, unless in very extreme conditions.
As for the filter it employs the new G-Force - take the starter cover off and you will find it has both pre-cleaned air injection and dirt suction channels. A bird tweeted it doesn’t get dirty twice longer than 352.

Now let’s go back into quietly waiting for twice-the-cc unit.

Fuel tank doesn’t line up with any panel, gaps uneven top right and bottom left.
Can’t see a screw to hold the recoil cover on the top left, unless it’s
under the top cover, or the brake flag goes through it.

Are the two holes above the fuel tank for carb adjustment, they are pretty low down to be.

[/ QUOTE]
