Why are they going with a .058?!?!?!

It has been so in Europe for a long time.
In some regions 72 type oregon chain is nearly impossible to find and that is not related to the chainsaw brands. Most of the .325 chains used to be .058 too and hobby 3/8 .050.
Only nowadays there is notable change with Stihl dropping .063 and introducing “light04” on mid-sized units.

It just showed up here,up to 928€ with the 70cm bar.899€ for the 572xp so you can't say it is well priced. These are only online prices, they might be a little different from dealers but you get the idea.

Don’t forget it will come with solid Sugi bar in Europe and in some European countries Husky’s price is shown either without a bar or with a shortest laminated version with “price from” next to it.

You are right,70cm sugihara for the Echo,50cm laminate for the Husky but still........
Anyway,i am not saying its a bad option, just priced a little high imo.I was almost certain it will come at around 750€,seeing it priced the same as the 572 xp disappointed me a little. On the other hand the 620sx is priced the same as the 562xp if not more.Echo is a little on the expencive side in here.

Yep. Anyway, in most European countries they are sold at slightly lower price, in some cases absolutely just because of the brand reason. The US get price reduction mostly with cutting equipment, wayyyyy lower taxes and local assembly of plastic models, which 7310 isn’t :D
Time will tell. Or it won’t, because brand, you know.

In my country it is the opposite: 621sx with 45 cm Sugihara ~715€, 562xp with 45 cm ~870€, 572xp with 45 cm ~1050€ and 7310sx is expected in September.

What did they change on the 621sx when compared to the 620sx

Piston, piston coating, rings, ring coating, piston pin, bearing, pin clips, cylinder port timing, port beveling, starter housing with metal inserts, fan shroud with openings to accomodate metal inserts, metric screws for starter, re-mapped ignition, clutch cover with captive nuts... basically same chainsaw :D
