In the Summer of 2005 the factory I was working in replaced the manual bagging line with with a robotic bagger. It was a SOB to get the quirks worked out of. It fouled up and a hothead, know it all stepped out on the conveyer line to "fix it". The goofball never locked out the robot and was laid out flat when the arm came flying around with a empty bag. He never even saw it coming as hit hit him square in the back at the shoulders.

I am not sure what Skynet is but the dipstick was a know it all and got a smack. In no way whatsoever do I ever want to see anyone get hurt but dammit some times an attitude correction gets their attention

Skynet was in the Terminator movie, it was basically the AI that started taking over. I think @Dub11 was referencing that even the machine "AI/Skynet" picked up that the guy was a turd and treated him accordingly.

Edit: Yeah, lock-out-tag-out is a thing and can save lives and limbs.

The goofy smuck had been through all the lock out/tag out training but you just cannot fix stupidity and impatience. My father worked worked for Heinz for 35 years at various levels of management. Sadly he (like many) saw tragic accidents that could easily have been prevented. In about 1982 a fork truck driver had his hand on the roll cage as he entered or exited a soup cooker. He got too close to the door and pinched all four fingers off. The plant was 3-4 miles from the ER so Dad told him in his truck and did not wait on an ambulance. The small town surgeon re-attached them but they ended up having to be amputated later. Lance was a great man and still worked for us on Saturday's pouring concrete for hog floors.
