One of my best friends is an elementary school custodian. He said they have a cleaner that changes color when it contacts piss and he has discovered that no place is safe. Including outside the bathroom!

A few years back I texted one of sons telling him to grab some cash. He asked why. I said because he will need it to bail me out after I am booked for putting a hammer to Dan S's head. Thankfully I made a better decision though and no bail was needed.

The guy referenced above (Dan S) was quite a jackarse. He was a welder on day-shift before I was there. He was constantly pissing folks off so they promoted him to a "assistant team leader" on third-shift. That is the politically correct term for leadman. Our first shift ATL was going to retire in a few months so he begged to come back to first hoping he would get the job eventually. The weld department manager was told by many that if he allowed it the end result with not be "good" Well the manger did not listen, he did it, and it was a catastrophe. Welders as a group are a pretty rough group of men and women and Dan just irritated them.

Brand new grinding wheel mounted last Saturday, some idiot decided to grind plastic on it before the shift ended.
It took one of my coworkers less than 8 hours to prove their stupidity.



Those dark spots are plastic melted into the wheel grit.

We grind HSS drill bits on that wheel.
Can You imagine the unpleasant feeling when the bits cutter catches onto that laminated plastic?
And You are lucky as long as it remains just an unpleasant feeling and doesn't rip the bit out of Your fingertips!

That is what You get employing people schooled in everything else BUT the metal-trade!

We had a Ukrainian guy at work that would do stuff like grinding plastic and aluminum on the bench grinder. In addition to the fouling the wheel was never balanced. There not a balancing stone to be found. We had another Ukie in the shop that was almost as bad. Stubborn people.
