Check your local Craigslist and FB Marketplace and any other online sales places you may have for a Wild Thing, they are plentiful and dirt cheap.
Hate to see folks start out ahead or behind just for having a different saw, see. Especially when this is more of a visual cutting competition and not real head to head racing, where looks don't matter only fastest man and machine do. Which is why I implemented the 5 like penalty for having another Poulan "Mart" model.
So, a guy could still win without a real wild thing if it's wild thing performance is worthy of +5 likes or more?

I'm in for the no 90 degree handpiece Dremal class.
After looking at pics its kind of same as later wild things but cheaper lol I don't mind -5 make it fair for you guy's lol (only joking)
It used to run half ok but after a few failures I put a few stock parts back in it just to get it running again. Needs timing advance find a good same carb in my junk and more Dremal work I think I can get more out of it.

Officially, no, but distractions are always welcome...
Hey now the rules only say it has to have what it came with and the winner gets the most likes! So if you take the stock muffler and fill it with tannerite and do the same with the crankcase. Fire it up with a 338! That would surely get the likes!

If you can do that with a running saw, then by all means...
