I fixed up that mcculloch SP-40 you gifted me. Now sporting 3/8 lp with all mcculloch parts, Mini Mac 6 muffler, clutch cover. Brake be gone. Rips with a 12" lp bar.

Glad it's got a good home. [emoji846]

It was a runner when I put it up, I knew it wouldn't take much to get it going.

That the special lake addition for trimming aquatic plants?
Maybe if I can get it to run reliably for more than a few tanks of fuel at a time.
I'll get it running this last time am over fixing it I will cut it in half with my 090 when I'm done with it this time.

Got it apart will do some more dremel grinding mines not a strato.
It wasn't that long ago I had to put crank bearings in it even though its low hr I got it new in about 2012 (yeah I know what was I thinking) but I've not used it much as I've never liked it was just a thing to grind on with my dremel and tinker with to see if I could get it to run better.
I used it in 40c heat a few times and the plastic it's made of gets soft and the engine moves in the chassis and the fly wheel smacks into the coil hard. I think that's why the crank bearings went out early or they were crap to start with?
This saw is even cheaper made than a genuine wild thing lol
