As an update on the 500i @kurtz picked it up last night and gave it a run through a few cookies first and seemed well pleased with its performance. Believe he wanted to do some cutting this weekend so might be we can get a perspective from him.

Today's report is on an 11 month project.
I'm real happy with it! Starts super easy, cuts smooth.

@redline4 Glad you're happy with your recombobuated saw. After talking to you is sounds like a winner winner, chicken dinner.
Sorry it took as long as it did to get to, but had to work out the rest of saws first that sat while i was down first. Getting close to caught up and back to a more normal situation here. Thanks again for your patience. :)

As a matter of fact I threw a bar and chain on the 500i as soon as I got home and went to work on the log pile last night. Then this afternoon I took it in the woods with me. Three tanks of gas through it and it is a beast. I’m extremely happy with this saw, Steve. In the next few days/weeks I’ll be putting a bunch more time on it and I’ll take some more pictures and a video or two.

knowing those 2, he’s probably already got one…. Lol

...or two.

If Mater wants to even remotely keep pace with that hoe Blueberry, it's going to have to be bought and sold to at least 4 people before it goes back to Eric.

Hopefully Mater can make up for a low odometer by running with extra vim and vigor!

I've been to Dan and Eric's place a couple times . They have a lot of saws . Eric owned only one saw last December at the Twin Cities GTG , I think he has around 15 now !

And unbelievably, this will be my first ported saw. Super pumped to get it home and run it in some wood

I’m actually kinda nervous for Captain Blueberry to run head to head against Mater. That saw looks really stout. Nice work.

We need to get together and run all of the ones we have like this. I have a Dolmar Heated 6400/7910 by Tree Monkey, a Solo 665/7910 by Mastermind, and I should have a Heated Dolmar 6400/7910 done by FarminKarmin soon.
