It wields very nice in the cut with little effort.

Yeah and we know it's built to high standards coming across your bench! I'm a Stihl guy, but I'd own that one.....It wields very nice in the cut with little effort.

The tree work guys that have them all seem to really like them. A local said it surpassed the 372xt and nips into the workload of the 390xp's he runs.
Pricing is another thing Husqvarna has going for it.
Not that Stihl doesn't have some nice running saws as well, they certainly do.
The one guy I do tree removals with loves the 500 series saws. I have several 300 series and like them too. But I gotta say your 572 looks to be spot on brother.
Steve do the tree services run 585/592’s yet being they’re liking the 572’s?The tree work guys that have them all seem to really like them. A local said it surpassed the 372xt and nips into the workload of the 390xp's he runs.

No, he had a few new 390's so he had them ported to give them a little more separation. I had to trick him into getting the 572xp, once he tried it he ordered more instead of 372's. I guess when the time comes to replace the 390's that'll be it.Steve do the tree services run 585/592’s yet being they’re liking the 572’s?
Both absolutely a dream love em. And that 572 u built me is a champ. My 390xp is collecting dust. I feel guilty@Normzilla runs them both, 500i and 572xp.
I haven't run a 585 or a 592 yet. I have a ported 390. But honestly between the 572 Steve built me, and my 500i. Everything else collects dust. Those two saw are doing almost everything I need, and I mean everything from general all around tree work, firewood and stumping trees and cutting stumps. I threw the 50inch Cannon on my 2101, and I'm going to buy a 42inch to fill a gap, and that will be on my 394 probably. But my 390, 394 and 2101 all collect dust now. You just can't beat the power and weight of the 572 and 500i. The 390 is still handy and not super heavy, but the capability of a ported 572 is incredible, as the 500i mines stock. And I love 461s too. I don't know any production fallers that are really running anything more around here much. It's all 500i, 461s, and 572s. They are getting them ported. But you only run into occasional 661s, or 395s.rarely. tree work around here I see a mix bit many 500is 461s and 572s yet again. I don't want to pack anything heavier anymore.Steve do the tree services run 585/592’s yet being they’re liking the 572’s?
Yea a well ported 572 is quite a machine, I didn’t need anything bigger but just wanted a 592 too.I haven't run a 585 or a 592 yet. I have a ported 390. I want 1 of each alwaysYea a well ported 572 is quite a machine, I didn’t need anything bigger but just wanted a 592 too.
Hi Steve nice work!I have to say these are really nice saws and they turn up quite well IMHO. Very smooth and powerful.
Hi Steve nice work!
Since you like these soooooo much, is it the decade of improved autotune?
Is it the latest design changes?
Is it the delicate Roman fingers doing their magic?
I think they’re easier to work on than the 550/562’s. The carb box isn’t as congested and wiring is simplified. They went backwards on the 592 for ease of working on in my opinionThanks Mike.
Yes I think the autotune has met its time.
Over the previous big 5 series 570, 575, 576, yes.
Seeing as I'm ignorant of the fact of just what the delicate Roman fingers entails, I'll have to pass for now.
What I really like is this saw punches well above its weight class and much like its little brothers is the same to work on and modify with good results. The learning curve of the smaller 562 and 550 saws definitely paid off, as well as the years of R&D and patient rollout.

Sounds good runs strong. Good job. Sounds like a pain in the arse. They can’t all be easy I suppose. Did it have port work? 16” .325? Thanks. Here's a hybridization of a 350 with a 346 cylinder, a 359 Zama EL42 carburetor and winter filter and an empty muffler can from another model that I'm not even sure of anymore. Anyways it livened up quite nicely and runs pretty darn good, here cutting hard sugar maple, for your viewing pleasure.
