I'm a fan of the Bolens tractors. Have a 1800 hydro and a H1502 hydro.
The H1502 is actually made by Iseki and has a 3 cylinder diesel. Both
equipped with 48" mowing decks. They are currently buried in a shipping
container so will be a while before I can get any pic's.
Just picked up this old lawnflite. Dont know much about it. It has an 8 h.p. briggs. Think its supposed to have a 10 h.p.
It needs a few things that i can see. Steering tie rob broke pushing onto trailer. Starter was rebuilt but needs to be put back on.
Hopin to maybe see if i can get it running this week.
Well as you can see this is a David Bradly. but the Monkey Wards doesn't have a shroud around the engine. I would also have to drag it out to get a picture of it.
I cut more grass with one of these than I even care to think about. 1976 Sears SS/18 Twin with a 18 HP Onan engine and a Six Speed Hi/Low. My Grandfather bought it when it was a year old, last time I looked at the hour meter it had a tick over 6000 hours on it (pretty sure I put at least 2000 on it myself). Picture is not of the exact one (still have it, in storage at my grandmothers) but it is identical, rust in all the same places even.
I just picked up two 1953 simplicity model VA two wheel tractors. There is enough there to make one. I have the 30” sickle bar mower on the nicer one. Got the new tires in Friday and hope to get it rolling by the weekend. They are four speed trans with Briggs engines.
