Sondre I have an OTC compression tester (snap on maker) that reads 220 or so on my 262 and 178 on the 55 I rebuilt. You can Barrow if u want to meet somewhere. You aren't crazy far. Someday I'll see where my Hacked up 385 is at. That one has some thump!

Your oil gas mix isn't the problem here either, looks to be pretty well coated inside of oil. Stratton tried blaming my issues on oil and engine overspeed.

I'll help anyway I can. All Sondre has to do is give me the ported saws in question and his problems disappear. :)

On a side note. I'm not a porter or machinist and never claimed to be. But I can help disassemble
and assemble if need be. Checking squish and a good look over.

An "uncle lee built" saw is definitely on my bucket list....

anybody wanna sell me a JMS saw just so I can have Lee redo it ?
sorry Sondre, humor in this mess is all I can find right now, :(

That would be great Eric. I might actually be up in the Worcester area tomorrow.

Worcester is really close. Let's meet somewhere I think I have your number. I'm around all day tomorrow anytime is good. May clean a 365 and change a clutch spring on the 262 I donated to the raffle.

Humor is definitely welcome Angelo. That's what I'm trying to do too. I'd rather laugh than cry about this. It's just a mess, but it'll get sorted through.
By the way, I wouldn't mind having an Uncle Lee Saw myself. Lol.

A snowmobile mechanic would repair sleds, tell customer sled would be done in a couple weeks. Repair them and rent the sled out for a weekend. Do people ever rent out chainsaws?
