Hi everyone, as some already know I ended up with a
New Stihl 362 MT, its sitting here unused and I would like
to swap for a Dolmar or Makita 6100.

I suppose this offer will applay to those in my durisdiction,
as complications arrise when I take a product in from outside
the EU, in plain words, import duty and taxes mess it up.

If your interested let me know.

Thanks and regards, john

My nearest Dolmar dealer is in quite a bit away.
Dolmars are very expensive here in Ireland,
they are a little cheaper in Northern Ireland.
I had a Makita 6100, and the guy who tunes
for the local foresters asked me to sell it, and
I sold it to him, went out and bought the 362
straight after, my son was to use it on a job
that did not take place, otherwise I would have
had the time to get another 6100 from ajschainsaws
on here.
I really liked the 6100 and sold it to keep someone
else happy, and would love to have another one.
My 362 is new, but if work comes along I will just
have to use her.
ajschainsaws does not like Stihl, so can't trade him
or swap him.
The 6100 is a piece of cake to work on,
ajschainsaws will get me any parts I need,
and he is a good man at tuning them too,
if the need ever arise, 15,00 euro to send the
saw to him, same back, and as said, he knows
what he is doing, so good support is available to me.

Darn...I have a 6100 like new...only a couple tanks thru it
Hi, thats a Stihl in your avatar, do you like them more than
the 6100 models, I don't like auto tune, but I might have to
get to like it, its a bonus regarding my son, as he can't screw
the carb, and I know he liks to tinker, he has quads and carts
here, and always see the need to improve?.

I used to be a stihl snob...but these days I appreciate all makes and models. I like anything with a sharp chain that runs good. I've had husky autotunes and stihl mtrons...I've been pleased with both. Just a little sketchy that I need a computer hooked up to it if there's problems. But all the ones I had were problem free. I'm more of a simple saw, screwdriver kind of guy. Currently I have a few dolmars the 6100 being one of them. It's one of the most impressive 60cc saws I've had. But with that said I would prob swap it for a 362cm especially if it was a gen2...haven't tried one of them yet.:(
