Me to. 2 pulls stone stone cold. All the time. The 421 starts on 1 sometimes. With very very little effort on both the 6100 and 421 when I use them.
IMO....There is always room for a Dol Ps-420/421...Mak EA-4300 !! @afleetcommand ..for info on the up and coming appearance :)

I am with Simon on this a 421 is a nice saw to have around. And I have OCD also and as I’m no a pro cutter and want stuff to last forever all my kit gets air lined off after and a clean with a 2 Stoke mix doused cloth. Look new as.

my 6100 does not like to be drop started one bit. I brought it to @166 for him to take a look at it. He literally pulled up slow till he turned over and it fired right away. GFY i said lol. The starter rope may be 1/4 of the way out when it starts. 4300 same way.

interesting a 16" here is 66dl.

Don't get me wrong, I love how my XS5000 and MMWS6100 start and run.
I merely dislike the spring assist, both feel and look of it. ;)
One does have to remember it's there to avoid that awkward moment on start up.

Plus20180922_163905.jpgwhat other ported 60cc saw can be started by this dude?
I don't know of any?

20” Oregon bars are 78dl. 20” Husqvarna bars are 80dl. As I have found out and now have both for this saw.

Talk about a lack of standards. I have a 20" .325 Oregon made Husqvarna bar that is 78dl. I also has a Dolmar 18" 3/8s bar that was 64dl instead of the usual 68dl found in the K095 mount.

Terry. If your talking about the ps 6100 then it has this C1Q.....

It looks like I was wrong on the El-42. C1Q, hmmm, perhaps it can also be modded. If someone has a C1Q that is disassembled, they could take a picture of the wet side (where the jets are), post the picture and I could confirm if it has a 'limiter' jet on the low speed circuit.

About the .325 Husky bars, there were two, one with 78 DL and another with 80 DL - I've got the 80. I found that out the hard way.

He'll eventually grow into those chaps...
I hope lol. But for the time being I kind of like them long so they go over his shoes. The only cutting I let him do now is cookies.

Well.... Not really. Long story, but I don't have it anymore...

Wait I thought you had it then sold it then have it? Now its sold again?
