I don’t blame them, we have high emissions standards because: #1 the US government thinks we’re saving the world, #2 our diesel fuel quality is absolute trash compared to Europe.

Today I may proudly present you the brand new MS 881.
The most powerfull currently available stock saw in the world.
And of course the most powerfull petrol chainsaw in the STIHL chainsaw range.
The MS 881 has a displacement of 121.6 ccm,
with 6,4kw power output and
a weight to power ratio of 1.54 kg/kW
With 75cm guide bar and chain it´s weight is 12.5 kg
without fuel/lubrication
The MS 881 was developed for forestry professionals, forestry buisnesses
and also chainsaw mills
Ideal for felling and bucking large diameter trees and also for mobile
chainsaw mills
The MS 881 got a new fuel-efficient 2-mix engine, that meets the emission
standards
We´ve got
a new sprocket cover featuring captive nuts,
a modern, powerfull and adjustable oiler, such that you can
order guide bars up to 105cm, with the default equipment.
The MS 881 has got a stop button. Turned off the MS 881 is ready to be
restarted immediately.
And ... after removing the rear cover, there is a diagnostic port,
with which the most important data can be checked: Serial, runtime, successfull
starts and rev´s
My conclusion for the new MS 881:
It´s a new, modern, powerfull chainsaw for professionals, that was further developed
consequently.
We have lots of features, which professionals may remember from the past.
We have also a lot of new features at this chainsaw, which can support
you at your work.

Okay so it beats a supposedly ported 880 but let's see it beat up on an 084 or even an 088. Then I might be interested.
