Looks like a nice saw but I sure won’t like the look of the paint on it by the serial number after that bark box cooks it for hours on end.

if that bark box is like the one on my 500 it doesn’t go straight out the side. It’s actually angled up from bottom corner to opposite top corner so it actually shouldnt hit the side of the saw that bad

OK...So its a shelf queen...lol

Friday it’ll get some use - it will be a milling powerhead for me / stumping / cross cutting large hardwood in the bush (I don’t have a 661) - today we dropped a lot of blow down stuff that’s too small for it

Likely will not run the bark box to be honest - it sounds amazing but it would be unbearable to mill with

Collingwood and Caledon

You a stones throw from Pearson: I’ve been having to dismount there instead of North Bay when I head to the Northern Ontario.

Cool.
Y’all got Hydro right now?

My most favoritist Cannukastain Porter was out for a few days...

Looks like Stihl was listening and have put deeper captive bar nuts on the 881
The ms661 captive bar nuts are to shallow put simply they are crap lol IMHO.
Yeah I might be the only one to complain about them lol But running hard nose bar's and giving the chain a rub and adjusting the chain every tank of fuel it got old fast the scrench slipping off the shallow nuts on a ms661 unless perfectly aligned and the scrench needing to be in perfect lightly used condition.
