In case nobody has mentioned it, I saw a video today saying you can't drop start the ms500i.
I'm guessing a safety thing, if it's true.Any mention of why that would be?
Is there something that prevents it from being drop started? My Dolmar 6100 is a lot harder to drop start but it can be done. If you sit it down or hold it between your legs, it pulls very easily. If you drop start it, it seems to override the easy start system. In case nobody has mentioned it, I saw a video today saying you can't drop start the ms500i.

Maybe some pussies got problem with the compression on those saws.
It felt a lot harder pull compared to a MS 661.
Stihl saws work best when still... is my favorite joke when my brothers' 310 doesn't start readily. In case nobody has mentioned it, I saw a video today saying you can't drop start the ms500i.
