Are the plugs getting smaller? What were the plug size?

The 461 was never offered in M-Troinic because it is also the "Rescue Saw", and M-Tronic had problems with smoke.

Perhaps the new V-3s have addressed this problem?

Also, thanks for the clarification on what the ^ position is, I was confused on that also.

It's essentially the choke position and also activates the micro-switch for the initial ignition condition for the solenoid.

Hear here, so like those sentiments. I love mine too but I'm sure I'll sell it at some point as I really don't need a 90cc saw... Come one 462CM-VW-R!!!!

Normal is 14mm x 1.25 thread. I suspect we'll see a minor uprising when they introduce 10mm x 1.00 plugs here. Gonna seem cheap and frail to a lot of folks and will inevitably strip more easily. The upside is when they do strip out you can probably re-tap to 14mm just as easily as using a 10mm insert.

Would be time for new screnches, too.

I knocked the Oiler pin in as well lovely amount of oil on my 36” bar

Can it be reversed once it is knocked in/out?

Yes it’s that simple,pretty sure I read somewhere it’s reversible if you remove the pump

Idk if it’s applicable to other stihl models but on 661 the pin is right next to the oiler screw. Take a punch or something else that’ll fit on it good and tap it flush and then you can have full adjustment range on the screw. It’s not a whole lot extra range but enough to put out a little more oil.

Not a typical option on most Stihl saws and not on all 661's either. It'll be obvious if it has the uprated oiler and the pin will be right there to see (and punch in). Bear in mind the oiler on max setting after punching in the pin will empty the oil tank in about a half tank of fuel..., at least according to the shop manual.
