Anyone here have a v.3 saw (or coil) yet? I just ordered a new coil for a 661 and it will be a 4703 v.3 coil. Also ordered a new WJ-134 for the same saw and am hoping it has the latest (green) solenoid that has been rumored to start shipping any day now. Would essentially make it a gen 3 saw without the new handle sticker.

Thanks for that information. Would certainly like to see the TI you reference and hope it applies to the replacement carb I will be ordering next week. (The WJ-134 was delayed so we'll see what what actually gets ordered.)

Any idea what the deal is with these green solenoids I've heard about?

Is there a v.3 MS461 on the horizon or will the MS462 eliminate both the 441 and 461? Haven't been following any developments there if they've been posted somewhere.

I’m gonna guess stihl/husky will run the 372/461 side by side with the new saws till they get the teething issues worked out. Then they will probably phase the old saws out.

Probably a good guess. Always thought there was a c-m option for the MS461 following in the footsteps of the 441 c-m for some reason. Maybe it was from reading about all the wishful thinking back when the 261 c-m was introduced.

The german MS 362 c-m III has new white solenoids ;)
Also 10mm spark plug and some minor changes.
Damn 10mm spark plug on the 362....these saws are becoming more & more like a Husky. I read the new calibration procedure on last page & it says start saw in ^ master control position and let it idle for 1minute then hold down throttle for 30 seconds. I don't have a 661 but is ^ the normal run position? And will this mean if you start your saw & it idles for a minute then pick it up to cut wood it will be in calibration mode?
