Just curious what everyone is paying in your area ? Around where I live a 20" loop is around $30 ! Well now I'm in PA in logger territory and the local Ace Hardware has 20" loops for $18.99 even 36" loops were only $29.99
What's your prices ?? Thanks

I was kinda surprised that this Ace had almost everything in 3/8th half skip, full skip, heck they even had a 25" es light bar. It was $125 but then again almost everyone heats with wood and lots of logging? I may stick up on some chain while here ? Can't beat these prices.

I've run stihl chain mainly since the mid 80s
Now some of my saw's cost me less than one loop of stihl chain lol

Prices are for 2 Stihl chains. RSK, RS, RM. I don't think there is any difference in price, full or skip. Anyway this is what I pay plus sales tax:
74dl .325 .63 gauge 36.98
72 dl .375 .50 gauge 34.98
84 dl .375 .50 gauge 41.98
91 dl .375 .50 gauge 46.98
At least a few months ago what I paid. Out of state no sales tax but you would have shipping which their shipping prices I've found are cheap. Not promoting, I could care less. Just sharing.

That's dirt cheap. I pay over 30% more than that for Stihl loops made by a dealer. One 114 DL loop of .375 pitch 063 gauge full chisel is $38 plus tax. A pair would be $76 plus tax. Stihl chain loops in this neck of the woods cost an arm and a leg and so do the reels.

Price on the last box of 91dl 3/8 was 35.99. Muy expensive. I bought a loop of 84 driver Oregon lgx off Frawleys for 17 bucks and change.
You notice any differences Nick? @TreeLife
Any preferences? You ever try Carlton?
Looks like I gotta take a drive to NH to get my next Stihl chains. Lol

Obviously I'm in the same neighborhood as you, Jeremy. I was *b-wording about local chain prices forever, then I met Anthony, @Icepick69 . Life hasn't been the same since. Get in touch with him. :)

84DL of RS or RM is $25.20
72DL is $21.60

My dealer charges $0.30 per DL on 3/8 pitch chain. I guess we have it good here.

I run some LGX. I think it is a little grabby in hardwood. My MMWS 461 will stall if I don't watch it with a 25". After the second or third sharpening with a file, it cuts good for me. I haven't measured the takers out of the box, but they seem a little low by the way it cuts/grabs/hangs.
