Just noticed a good pic to show the exhaust port on mine. If you look closely, you can see the wings of the stock roof, and where I didn't fully blend the in. The plate chamfer is smooth across though.

Ok here's my not so professional way of "Farm" porting..... I plan on sanding it with the mandrel remove the cutter and stick sand paper to it or make a rubber sanding spindle for my drill. I was also planning on sanding the bottom off of the jug with a whole series of Sanding paper. My thought is to Measure the four corners of the jug and sand. Just keep repeating the process keeping everything even.

Feedback is very welcome...... I'm a big boy I can handle it. I kind of got to make do with what I have available.

Youre gonna likely need to cut like .043 off the jug base. You're not gonna try to sand that off, correct?

Your sanding mandrel will work, but its easy and cheaper to make out of PVC.

Watch the ridge at the edge. I hold the mandrel flat at the end and use it to recut that edge. A wood chisel works remarkably well also.

Not sure on sanding the base, really not sure.

I've sanded for 30 min to take off .005. Take some before and after pics, (of your hand and then) of the jug base.

I had it all planned out yesterday to get some real work done on this saw. Then I got call into work... So tonight's my night. Let's hope there's a video of it in some wood before Sunday.

Ok before I get more out of order I cut the squish. Working out away to sand it yet.

I then measured all four corners of the jug just give me a starting point.

I've done this a few times. Take a belt sander belt, cut it into 1 long piece. 50 grit. Turning 90° every stroke. Takes about an hour to take .040 off a jug. After you do half a dozen, your right arm will look like Quagmire's (Family Guy, for those who wanna look it up) after he realized there was porn on the internet.

I then started sanding.. I first used a junk jug... I learned a lot...don't try to set it down while it is spinning.. After a little practice I was ready to make a go of it.

This is after I sanded it some got more to remove.

Just my own little disclaimer I am not a professional. I have no real good way of measuring how much i removed from the squish band and off the bottom. So I've been removing material slowly.
My real measuring Gauge is my degree wheel and I've been measuring the squish and exhaust often. I then know where to remove more. My goal is 102-103 Ex. and about .015 squish.

Did I say I'm not a PROFESSIONAL!!!

What the professionals charge is cheap!

More to come...
