I use this for OPE

I am not sure what all problem the folks have with it but have been using it for over a decade with no issues. It burns clean with virtually zero deposits. Maybe the folks having issues are fuel related. All I run is non-ethanol.

For bikes I use Spectro Platinum, Injection Bel-Ray. I am an oil snob BTW.
Can’t imagine it’s any different than husky xp+ Other than the bottle

Why would the oil cause the big end bearing damage but no scoring or cylinder damage?
I’d imagine the bearings got dry from laying on its side under heavy load for extended periods of cutting.

Haha..I am worse than that...the poster said he thought the stuff should go in the trash. If I lived nearby I would have asked him if I could have it. Not too proud to dig through trash if there is something worth grabbing. One person's trash is another's gold...you would be surprised what I have got out of old buildings or houses while tearing them down.

dude I promise I wouldn’t run the Lucas. I posted pictures in the what oil is best what ratio thread. Lord knows what page. I had a saw wear my rod bearing out. It was oil related. 40:1 Ported saw. But the dryness and wear is what killed it. No piston scuff No cylinder damage. Bearing wire enough to let the piston hit the roof.

just run anything but that dude. I promise. I’m an oil hoe. I run anything too. I really do. Yeah even oil that’s given to me. Even ultra. All of it but that. If you must use the bottle up go 25:1. 40 isn’t enough. I dong think 32 is if you’re gonna run the saw

I let him carry on......just watched him delete content. It was sorta amusing......but this morning I pulled his plug. He isn't welcome back here.

How long it take the dude to search them all out and delete them? I can't imagine having that much of a grudge let alone that much time on my hands.

To achieve what persactly Randy?

In the future, when someone reads a thread with numerous posts missing, it may be confusing. He did the same thing in the oil thread, and several people have mentioned it...asking why his posts can't be seen in that thread. Now he's done this in multiple threads.

Even when we ban someone from the forum, we are not supposed to delete their content in mass. There are rules to be followed about content.

K. Seemed retaliatory, petty even. But I get it now.
