I lost a carburetor for a month, I gave up on finding it, turns out it was on my trucks dash the whole time. I could have swore it was on my bench, boy was i wrong.
I sometimes wish some people around me could disappear or get "lost".... As hard as I try to ignore them they seem to always be there...

man how do you lose chaps at your own house..........nevermind everything i've ever lost was at home.lolWell, I ordered some new chaps so I expect my old ones to show up before they arrive in the mail, lol.
I did think of one spot to check when I get back in town and that's with my ropes. I didn't actually look in those bins.
Also, I figured out when I for sure used them last and it was at my own house.
Good to have a 'back-up' pair.

They can be washed (hand washed and laid flat to dry) if it's just that they're grungy.Mine are starting to get a little ripe. Any suggestions for a pair that will last longer than a couple seasons?
They're just brush whipped to death. Next pair I'd like to be more resistant. They can be washed (hand washed and laid flat to dry) if it's just that they're grungy.
They are a piece of equipment that will wear out just like gloves, boots, etc. So maybe you're just putting a lot of use on them. I did have to have one strap sewn back on. (probably caught it on something while fighting through the brush.)
The Laybonvilles I've been using are really robust. This new pair is Forester brand so I'll write a review on them since I have a comparison.
