Hey folks,

I'm pretty new to both mowers and electronic repair, so apologies if my jargon is incorrect.

I have an XT1 LT42e that is (naturally) just outside of warranty. I've read a couple of good threads on them and found a few helpful PDFs, but haven't managed to solve my problem.

I'm getting codes E121 and E129. As far as I can tell, those are both indicative of a communications error between the VCM and the Battery Management. I traced all the wires (visually) and did find some mouse damage to one, so I fixed that.

I was sure that was the error, because how could it not be, but even after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, I'm still getting the same codes.

It feels like I'm definitely missing something obvious. Is this like a vehicle where I have to clear them somehow, and disconnecting the battery did not do that? Did that mouse fry the whole battery management module?

Thanks so much for any advice you guys have, and have a great weekend!
