Ok Ill be the one. Where was the last time you were cutting?:D
Well, that's one of the problems is that I'm not completely sure when I used them last. Groundi and I were discussing that last evening. I believe it was here on the property as I was doing some clearing. (It wasn't all that long ago, just farther back than my memory)

Didn't you recently do a road trip? If so, did they go with you and were they used? Maybe they are with the stuff from the trip (check your cooler).
I never take chaps on the road unless I'm going to a job site. The last road trip was to Key West last weekend and we traveled very light.

Groundi and I started cleaning the heap of stuff in the garage and putting it away. We have about a 2 month accumulation of stuff getting emptied out of vehicles and getting piled in the middle stall. (where my Bobcat is supposed to be parked)
Anyway, we made some progress on that but not visibly noticeable to the average observer. No discoveries yet but I did move about 150 lbs of nails and screws, relocated about 10 gallons of hand tools, put away some tile and laminate flooring tools, Groundi hauled some lumber up to the storage area of the garage, I moved an arm full of shelf brackets, and arm full of speed clamps, two 18 gallon totes of electrical supplies and a pail of plumbing parts. So we've scratched the surface...

Guess I'm going to have to order another pair. I've exhausted all the places I can think of that they could possibly be. Nowhere to be found... Double checked in both hangars today, nada. Looked in the truck for about the 8th time, nada, checked the workshop again (about the 5th time), looked in the chicken coop, wood shed, double checked both stories of the garage. They are just gone. Oh well, I'm sure when I order a pair, they'll show up and then I'll have a spare for my cutting buddies.

You can always justify another saw.

As soon as you click "complete purchase" they'll turn up. I like having two of everything though. It gives me twice the chance of finding at least one.

If I were ever in a "Flight of the Phoenix" situation, the guy that built that bike and wears those chaps would be the one I'd want with me. He has some skill.
