Yes sir,I've got a few friends with basically the same trucks and they told me the same thing. My wife's navigator is an 06 as well with the same 5.4,we've never had a problem out of it,always change the oils between 3 and 4,000 not matter whatMake sure you use the correct weight oil and change it often.
