I would do it, 254 stomps 346 unless fully modded. Only downer is OEM 254 parts have all but dried up. P&C not available from the mother ship

I'm torn on adding a 266. Have a stupid clean 262 (KS/87), and just don't know if it's worth grabbing one.

I have a rattler 254xpg,346,5105. They are all close but something about the 254 to me, maybe it's because it's the saw that started a great friendship with Michael Shetley aka Rattler Worksaws, but it's a saw I know can't be replaced.

I inherited my first 254 (the one Kevin ported), and it's the saw that got me to love Husqvarna's (2 and 3 series anyhow). Have sold all my Stihl's since, save my 461. Which, if I found an equivalent 2-series husky, I'd probably replace it too! LOL
