Was out the old mill today
Just had a look over my dads two worked hard high hr stock ms661's he was complaining they are running fat as, they probably need solenoids or some chit.
Told him to throw em in the bin and buy a ms500i he's 72 ffs a lighter saw that actually runs good would be good at his age lol.
Anyway they have been sucking lots of fine sawdust for years on end. For science and stuffs I'll pull the cylinder off one when I get time to show there is zero damage from fines (shock horror) lol.
He was saying he sold bout 240 ute loads of firewood out of his stockpile this winter.

Yeah we all (family) have run the same mineral oil in our saws for decades. Am still yet to see anything on the internet's that would make me change oil.

Looks to be set a bit deep though.
What's the range on it, does it have an indicator for the actual depth.
