Agree, Hard to go wrong with any optic Meopta makes. When you go with a company known for its glass quality, you know you won't be disappointed. I have been on the Meopta bandwagon for 3 years now and love what they bring to the table. The 3-18x50 Dichro reticle is one of my favorite hunting rifle scopes. Nice to see others appreciating them as well.

Not today, but purchased my first “pro” level saw last week. Was looking to upgrade from TSC clamshell Huskies, and a local shop took one of them in on a trade towards a new 545. Nice saw. Unfortunately, now I really want another nice saw that can cut with a 24” bar as fast as this 545 does with its shorter .325 setup.

Congrats on the saw and welcome to open. There's no cure for thechainsaw acquisition disorder (CAD), but buying another certainly helps the symptoms for a time;).

Might I recommend a 572xp? Better yet, get a 572 warmed up by one of the guys on the forum here.

Thanks!

Now I guess I just need to keep my eyes out for a good deal on a 372/365/565/572. And on that subject, I think I read in another thread on here that you just might be a man who has/can get things? (Directed @chipper1) ( but also open to offers on decent second-hand 70cc Huskies from other members)

You can't go wrong with @chipper1 or @Johnmn - those guys occasionally sell 70cc rigs. I'll be selling some Husqvarnas later this fall, including a 372 with a new OEM top end and a 372XPW, also with a new OEM top end.

Where you at in Indiana Jason.
I'm not to far north of the line, east of Grand Rapids mi, plenty of 70cc saws here.

I’m halfway between Indy and Cincinnati, OH- probably 5 hours away from Grand Rapids. Buddy is originally from just outside Mt Pleasant. I liked it up there the one time we went years ago. I also have a 3 and 4 year old, which doesn’t make it any easier to go anywhere.

Nice splitter!

Yesterday I bought an Echo 2511T to go with my Creamsicle fleet. I've been wanting one since I heard of their existence. Anxious to try it out but not in this humidity. I'm neither a pro or a climber, I just do my field edges and some TSI in the woods.

Bummer you're not a bit closer, we're down in NW Ohio on a normal basis and Ft Wayne now and then.
I know all about the kids, I have 5 myself, only 3 in the home now.

The 1/4 pitch bar and chain swap help them a lot.

One of these days I will have to buy a MS 461 I've been spending far too much money on bang sticks ...... if that is possible
Very nice.
I saw these are on sale again today, I didn't buy any though, I stocked up good the last time.

I use mine to clear fence lines, cut trees off of terraces & top out downed trees. It is small enough to carry in the combine & tractor cabs as well.
