I fully intended on owning this but I just could not pull the trigger. Now that Dad, Jim, and all the other flathead guys are gone there is no one to direct me to which engine it is. I need the early 60HP.

It sold for $70

I bought this on Saturday. After getting a bar pinched on Friday, I figured I'd better buy a spare one for my Stihl 400's. I should've brought some lube with me, lol.

Wow! A Sugihara out of Sheboygan Falls is less than $90 for that size.

Looks later by looking at the head studs. Dizzy location and water pumps would tell the story too.

A regular sugi bar or a lightweight? I have a regular bar of theirs and MAN is it heavy! Regular bars are reasonably priced, but I've yet to see a cheap lightweight.

The 25" neotec lightweight isnt too bad... got one when they were running 50% off earlier this year, for a 25" stihl bar for $40, it aint bad...only downside for someone already heavily invested in stihl chain is that its .063, and 90% of my chains are .050... weight is about the same as my 20" oregon solid bar... even at full price of $80 with a chain, its not a bad deal at all, when they are available... balances out nice on both an ms362 and an 044...logic would stand to reason it would feel pretty good on my ms661 as well, but that likes wearing the 32 and 36" bars, modified mccolloughs (have a hard nose .050 that i run 3/8 on, and a roller nose .404) and an old oregon respectively.

I bought one of those too and modified it to fit the neotec 395 clone. I couldn't pass it up for the price. I'm well satisfied with it. Like you all my other chains are 050 so I was a little reluctant to buy it but it was way cheaper than anything else I found.

Exactly... when the stihl 050 equivalent is dang near $150 now, when a bar and chain come up for 40, i dont pass...LOL
