I bought a Dr. Pepper and a Little Debbie brownie at a Loves truck stop. It was $5.88. That used to be about $2.
i know they want 3 bucks for a three pack of hostess ho ho's at the convienence stores and a box of 12 is 2 bucks on sale at the safeway....so annoying

Went from 3.5 hours of cutting grass with a Sears Craftsman 42” with a 20hp twin cylinder Kohler motor, down to under an hour (including hosing off the entire machine, underdeck too) all put away.IMG_3302.jpeg

And do they wear out 😉? Apparently I don't use mine enough 😎🤠 although I once bought a used one for a dollar and had to correct it actually. But it looks more like a manufacturing defect or intentional sabotage 😉🤠

I bought a k5 for $20 and the pressure connector was broken. I had one, so I quickly replaced it. It's 11 years old and it's barely collected dust and it's like new inside, so it hasn't worked for long. I love quick repairs 🤠👍

Well I think I might have struck gold today boys.
I went and did a half hour job cutting light little branches for someone so he could get a new Internet cable installed and he gave, yes GAVE, me a running 020t!

He says it runs fine until it gets hot then won't restart. Maybe the ignition coil?

I started it and tuned it and it sounds fine.

It's even the same age as me!

Could be the coil see if it has spark when it don't start other than that check the compression, heat will lower poor compression to the point of it not running. You could pull the muffler and take a look at the piston. When it ran, did it hold idle and run strong?

I have a few if you want one
Somehow I am thinking that the prices today compared to when they were available here are slightly different. :)

I am 30 miles down river from Arsenal Island which is an island in the Mississippi River. It has been home to the Rock Island Arsenal since the 1800's. During the height of the war it employed around 12,000 civilians in Army manufacturing. Today it is down to about 6000. They used to have surplus auctions there all the time. You could get things reasonable. There were many folks that made good livings buying the surplus and re-homing it. The machine tools that came from there were amazing. After September 11, 2001 all live on site auctions ended. They went to online auctions and for inspection you had to get clearance and it was a guided tour. We went over in 2004 to look for some CNC mills and 600 amp welders. The warehouses of top quality machine tools were amazing.

What does a running 6x6 go for these days?
