Snagged this for 99 British pence. That's one US dollar and 13 cents.

It's a clone of a Zenoah G3800. Should make a good beater or loaner saw.

Looks like it was used once or twice and then left out in the sun.

Picked up these two MS241CM saws last week. They are a bit rough but have good compression.



One had a knock to the top. No serious damage but the air shroud is broken. I have a replacement ready to fit. Then need to find better top covers and the missing bits.

Diesel is $2.15 cad a liter in Canada

Diesel is €1.82 here in Ireland and petrol is I think €1.87, per litre. I know I bought exactly 5L of petrol yesterday for €9.25. I could easily burn 10L of petrol in a day's cutting. My 1.9L diesel Skoda Octavia now costs €95 to fill once the gauge enters the red, so that's not even the full tank.
Dyed agricultural diesel never went over €1 a litre before, but since November 2021 it has not come under the euro mark, it's now €1.24 in my local filling station. Last year a friend of mine spent €4,000 just on agri diesel making 600-700 round bales of silage. That was just mowing, raking, baling and wrapping, that's not including topping, spreading of slurry or fertilizer, the price of wrap, the price of fertilizer etc. Last year fertilizer went from approx €300-€500 a ton to €700-€1200 a ton. This year it came back to €500 a ton at lowest, can only imagine what it will be in March when people go to buy it again. The minimum wage in Ireland is €11 / hour, there is talk of raising it to €12 and a bit. I guarantee you if my local filling station, and all filling stations in the country, have to start paying employees an extra euro an hour then the price of fuel is going to get a horrid lift again along with everything else.

61.562 liters of diesel is 93.78 euros here, so roughly .02 euros more per liter. In American standards, $6.14 a gallon with my 11 cents/gallon discount for having a rewards card and 10 cents/gallon discount for paying cash.
