What metal and hardness?
2 are D2 one is 9cr18mov all are 58-61rc.

If you Google "Civivi knives Heat Treat", they are SUPREMELY GOOD on both.
Their 9cr is very comparable to D2 & the company itself has made their reputation on Heat Treating their Steels.

Ceramic Ball Bearings & perfect blade centering & Quality Control is just incredible.

Sounds like a very good knife!! Mine would not be as good as far as internal workings.

It's got a S30V blade with a hardness of 59-61. It holds an edge really well.

I spent $10 again and one new costs $50 Wolf Garten 8" wheel
Some wire, a power cord and some fancy wheels (are the treads conductive?)
Are you going worm collecting.:D

Some years back, I showed my (adult) sister the trick of a rod with line side of our mains wiring on the metal (insulated grip though) for getting worms to surface.
Sis is getting gray haired and still thinks that was cool as heck to see.

Before anyone gets too excited, it's a hybrid. Based on a Farmertec 070 with a big bore kit and some genuine Stihl covers and parts. It's essentially new. The builder used it once or twice and then kept it as a display piece.

I wonder who actually makes them bars..?

Do You use any of them?
Ive used a few bars, but non from this company.

The only real reason I asked/wondered. Is that I’ve seen there web page.

They are a German company that sells AM parts. Also has there’re name on things they sell, so I guess they stand by what they sell

So I was really just wondering if the bar was any good and would it last.?

Btw, I’ve seen stihl bars worn way before they should have….. bad operators hitting dirt & bad/lazy filing 🤦‍♂️ ..Ffs

Someone I know went to the local tip. They had a shop where you could buy shīt that someone’s dumped 🤞🤠

They gave me this Homelite csp 3314 for £5 ( I guess that’s $6). Top over off and air filter off. 🙄

Anyhow I checked the piston by taking the exhaust off. That was good 👍 so put a bit of fuel down the carb throat, it fired… 👍

Put fuel in the tank and a bit more down the throat. It fired but wouldn’t run. So I checked the carb, & it’s the fuel strainer gauze 👍👍👍
I guess I need to find a new one outta my stash.. as the old one is solid ..

Give them a try!

I have yet to try their bars and chains.
I got the 51" bar and four of their chains, two full chisel (64DL & 156DL), one semi chisel (156DL), one carbide tipped (64DL).
