Hopefully for small sawsI’m actually grinding chains tonight myself, got 4 left
Wow, if you handed me that winning chain, I would be seriously pissed off...Proof is in the pudding I guess.
That would have to be quite a bit bigger to cause any trouble. So, no. Just my humble opinion...Now, if you want to race, I guess you have to do all the extra little steps. I would probably do more harm than good trying to remove it.Do I cut that little pecker off?

I'll leave all that racing stuff up to you pro's.That would have to be quite a bit bigger to cause any trouble. So, no. Just my humble opinion...Now, if you want to race, I guess you have to do all the extra little steps. I would probably do more harm than good trying to remove it.

I'm thinking about depeckering it.Show the other side of the pecker

You could put it through the 600 and knock it off pretty easily. I'm just not sure it is even worth the time it takes to do it. (I don't) Bigger is better in pecker knocking...I'm thinking about depeckering it.
So would you go deeper then I’ve done?Deep is more aggressive overall. Still haven't figured why but it does make them pull harder with a real deep gullet
Do you like either I showed then? No. A smooth even side plate is what I lile
How deep do you go?Both will work fine. The one with the gullet past the side plate will need a bigger saw to pull smoothly
