MT285B, Agco had Iseki Japan make them and marketed them in the US in the early 2000's, recession of 2008 killed them.

They are the same/similar to Massey Fergusons of the era (mine is similar to a 1547)

Iseki makes some very nice machines.

Finally bought a log winch for the tractor. Picked up a Norse 450 from Labonville. Getting ahead on wood for next year and then some.

How many horse?
On top of my head, 3 cylinder, 2.5 liter, atmospheric, 35kW, 10 gears forward, 2 gears reverse, rear axle differential blockage, about 2 ton.

If I don't forget I'll check the manual tomorrow after work, it's somewhere outside in the garage.

School me Steve. How can you tell?

funny I’m a farmer. I have no idea how to properly set a moldboard.

we went to chisels when I was a kid and I’ve only pulled a set of moldboard plows about once. Some 6 bottom 18s. Old man set the field up for me. I’d have to really think about it if I had to hook up to a set

47 horse. Those plows 18”.?? If so I’d have trouble pulling it here. Clay..... I dig the machine sir. That’s why I was asking.
It is a good tractor, more than enough gearing to get the most out of the power it has at it's disposal.

It can be had without a cabin, and also with 4WD.

It can handle much more than what we use it for.

We have a 12" single plow, we don't ever use it as it's much less than what this tractor can handle.
Our 14" dual plow is good in light soil, unfortunately all our fields are heavy clayish soil which gives our tractor a really good workout.
