That muffler looked like A LOT of work. Almost as many welds and custom cut pieces as a pipe.
But it did sound cool.
Guy has nice video editing skills too.

Just like to add that the mocked up muffler in the mill has no exhaust gasket and the dog teeth are against the mill skid. This is the worst case scenario, and having the gasket in place and the dog teeth a little away from the skid will have the sewer pipe discharge clear the mill vertical with room to spare. I love customizing saws for the individuals wants/needs, and IMHO, it all starts with getting the exhaust away from the operator and dialing in the saw for the owner.

Hi Mike! Ya give it a try! I like it but there is a learning curve. Try and keep the saw loaded and not bogging using a crank handle instead of pushing. Definetly makes milling a little less strenuous!

394/5 has plenty of room for a good mill muffler mod !

FYI ..... I block off the pto side exit(s) to keep cool fresh air around the operator

First one for me. Used a @Red97 medium on a 359 box. In case anyone in the universe is not aware, these pre-pressed deflectors mean even a noob like me can pull off a passable MM.
Spark arrestor screen is what we find in our pump strainers at work.....
Hole is 14mm, can increase if needed but harder to go other way.
