Did you do anything to the internal pipe coming into the muffler from the cylinder opening ?

Notched it just a touch, and got into the dish under the factory deflector. Some what of a scoop, if you will.

Factory deflector is still functional.

You didn't add another port Kevin?
I’m thinking that eliminating the internal baffle and the screen, whilst enlarging the Entire opening under the stock deflector, is probably equal to or greater than the exit area of a second exit with the stock baffle.

Might be fun to swap mufflers back & forth with one that has an added deflector ..........see what shakes out

Yes he does...He has a spare 261cm muffler too that I gave him if you need one.

We were going to try and experiment with a smaller outlet to see how it affected the saw. But we never got that far...lol
