60" Cannon super bar. Running 404 skip square on it.

Did you do anything to the internal pipe coming into the muffler from the cylinder opening ?

Notched it just a touch, and got into the dish under the factory deflector. Some what of a scoop, if you will.

Factory deflector is still functional.

I’m thinking that eliminating the internal baffle and the screen, whilst enlarging the Entire opening under the stock deflector, is probably equal to or greater than the exit area of a second exit with the stock baffle.

Might be fun to swap mufflers back & forth with one that has an added deflector ..........see what shakes out

Doc did this on my 261cm. Gutted the inside, closed up the factory hole.

I might just need to take you up on that for “somewhat” of a baseline to begin from. Are you sure that you’re OK with me fartin around with it ?

We were going to try and experiment with a smaller outlet to see how it affected the saw. But we never got that far...lol
