I just used a XP_Slinger stainless deflector on my 066 muffler!

Crushed and cracked 7910 SLR muffler.
Pulled the ballsack out and portmatched.
Cracks were at front support bracket, 1 piece busted off and still screwed to said bracket.
Front got opened right up about 1/2” tall by 1-1/2” long. Brazed in some 5mm nuts in a slot on each end and fabricated a removeable cover for race days. Also hacked in an extra port in the top corner where she was smashed in pretty good.
Not pretty, but should serve its purpose.

Spoken like a true Boilermaker.
I could have tigged it but buttering it with a little 45% is just so damn convenient.
Plus after building a stainless expansion chamber pipe I swore I’d never tig thin stainless again.
