I would watch those screws to make sure they don’t back out, haven’t had the best luck with self tappersView attachment 165988
Humble submission. Drilled out two holes, used self tapping screws, cleaned it all out, and sprayed it with BBQ Paint.

If you use dick screws they won't back out.could put a spot weld on the head, might keep it from backing out
