That’s beautiful.
I’m gonna attempt my 1st mod on my 359/7 project.

Could you elaborate on yours?
It is exactly what I’d like to achieve.
This was an easy one as the can is empty.
I just drilled a few holes and connected the dots with tin snips and smoothed out to straight lines. (My die grinder/cutoff wheels were not in the building as this would have been quicker and easier.) Then a couple sheet metal screws to attach the deflector, trimmed the screen to fit snug inside and one more screw.

The 359 muffler is very different animal with baffle and a tube or even worse if it has a cat....

After a little more smoothing and sand blasting it looks a whole lot better! I grabbed it and pulled as hard as I can and it didn't come off! I'm happy with my first brazing job. The 461 is next!
