Why didn’t you do a jungle muffler mod on it?Fixed up and painted a 2100/2101 muffler. Brazed on a deflector. View attachment 291774 View attachment 291771View attachment 291772 View attachment 291773
A guy could do any muffler mod he wanted to. I guess it comes down to personal preference? I think louvers are kool. But the first time they touch bark or a stick pokes them, those louvers on the front get bent. You also can’t really add a screen behind them if you wanted to.Why didn’t you do a jungle muffler mod on it?

Show me where rivets have pulled through or failed on a Stihl muffler? I braze them on a 5 series also because the metal is thin. But not on a StihlNice! Nice strong brazing job. Should hold up better than rivets
Cool, never said they failed on a stihl muffler Kevin. But yeah makes sense on a heavier can. Maybe a fender washer behind it could hold better too if possible? I guess I just prefer brazing/welding or welding nuts in even if it’s more work. It seems more permanent.Show me where rivets have pulled through or failed on a Stihl muffler?
